The Sport (also known as the Sport AT) was an intermediate-level hang glider that served as a predecessor to the Super Sport line. Available in three sizes — 150, 167, and 180 — it featured AT (Advanced Technology) hardware and airframe construction, bringing elements of competition glider technology to recreational pilots.
A variant called the Sportster (148 sq ft) was also produced, offering a slightly different configuration for medium-sized pilots.

History
The Sport served as the foundation for what would become one of Wills Wing's most enduring product lines. When the Super Sport was developed in the early 1990s, it built directly on the Sport platform, incorporating the HP AT airfoil and improved airframe technology while targeting the same intermediate market.
The "Sport" name has continued through multiple generations of Wills Wing gliders:
- Sport (AT) — ~1988–1995
- Super Sport — ~1991–1997
- Ultra Sport — ~1996–2008
- Sport 2/2C — current production
- Sport 3 — current production
Pilots moving from the Sport to the Super Sport found "superior pitch and roll response, effortless roll-neutral thermal tracking, and a noticeable improvement in static balance and ease of landing."
